Here you can feast and drink to your heart's content. The sandwiches with various toppings are just delicious. And the bread is super crispy. The service is very attentive and it is comfortable to sit both inside and outside.

Great terrace with sufficient distance to the other tables, the staff also keep enough distance (which is not a matter of course) The service was very friendly and brisk and very attentive, the food was delicious, especially the warm sandwiches!

Been there several times, very friendly staff, delicious food! And even if you “only” want to drink a café, you will be served just as nicely and attentively

Today you went there and ordered me a latte macchiato. The latte was lukewarm and inedible. After I complained about this, the latte came back hotter, but the same was obviously foamed and thinned (because it was sweetened), but returned hot. Unfortunately there was no taste of coffee at all. Then I ordered an expresso to give my latte macchiato some flavor. The Expresso finally came after the second order. It's a shame, because the place to sit is really nice, but I've never been served such a disgusting latte macchiato.

Although in a nice location with what should be a nice idea for a lunch place, service was extremely slow and unorganized, the food itself was quite tasty but very expensive for what it is. Left hungry which isn’t a great sign...

You can sit outside. Hearty bread, sourdough and dark! Delicious! Nice service!

No recommendation, waited 20 minutes for the waitress, the order came after about 40 minutes, not complete, we picked up the cake with the coffee ourselves at the counter. If you want to run a business professionally, you cannot employ laypeople to serve.

Nice location but very expensive and chaotic. For the prices they could double the number of waiters, they were completely overworked, they brought us food but forgot to bring plates to serve the meal on.

Passed by by chance. Located in the middle of the city, outside one of the small Stadtbächle runs by, ideal for the little ones when it's hot. We were served quickly and very friendly. We didn't know the bread like that, so we tried different ones and they were all very, very tasty. There is a star deduction for the selection of beers, there is only Rothaus. A second kind or a local beer would be great because Rothaus is no longer what it used to be.

Nice service, a menu with breakfast, bread and snacks a little out of the mainstream. Price quite ambitious. A little discount would certainly benefit the price-performance ratio. And for a bread with such a firm crust, I would find a sharper knife quite helpful.

Nice cafe with a good location. Unfortunately too little staff. We sat for 25 minutes and nobody managed to take an order. Looked very messy.

Incredibly delicious breakfast options and good coffees! In addition to various cakes, there are breads for breakfast with a wide variety of spreads - the breads are then freshly prepared in front of the customer. You order and pay at the checkout at the beginning and can then take the food with you to the table.

Food looks nice and delicious, but I had cake and it was just tasteless, coffee was very bad. And above, it is overpriced. It might be the place with the most expensive coffee in Freiburg.

Horrible service! It took over 30 mins to get my curry turkey sandwich and even then it was because I went up to the cashier and said I want my money back that they realized my sandwich had been sitting in the grill. No sorry, no refund and cold sandwich!

What an incredible awful place! Not only is the service terrible ( you will wait forever, since there is no table service) but the menu choices are so limited and confusing that I ask myself if they at all care. The price are ridiculously high for tiny portion, but I guess this is what you get in a tourist trap!

Elegant, but the coffee of a weak quality

We went there Friday morning at 10:00 and there was no line so we were able to order our food very quickly. They made our food/drinks right then and there so it was fast. It was self service so we picked up our food and found a place to sit outside with no problem! The food itself was very delicious. I got the Chicken Toscana and Cappuccino grande. Both were very delicious and it was an excellent time and spot for breakfast before the hustle and bustle of the beautiful city of Freiburg began.

Good place for coffee and cakes. The original Black Forest Cake should be with cherries - but also this one was very delicious
